Skilled nursing
Sage RNs help patients in their homes, whether they’re recovering for surgery or ailment or have chronic needs for medical attention. The RNs monitor patients’ wellbeing and report to physician(s) as needed. RNs may help with issues including but not limited to:
- Wound care and dressing changes
- Pain management
- Medication teaching
- Diabetic and nutritional teaching
- Pre- and post-operative care
- Insulin injections
- Infusion therapies and IV antibiotic treatments
- Ostomy and catheter care
Physical therapy
Physical therapy (PT) is a medical treatment focused on easing pain and restoring functional motion, including standing, walking and moving various body parts. Top San Diego physicians recommend Sage in the Ranch’s physiotherapists to help their patients:
